Lietuvoje gimusi, Briuselyje gyvenanti Marija Rasa, kurianti po pseudonimu emer, tyrinėja garsą meditacinėje dub erdvėje, besiskleidžantį per lėtus balso, boso ir atmosferos kismo procesus. Baigusi Sonologijos institutą Hagoje, Rasa taip pat kuria daugiaerdvinius akusmatinius kūrinius, naudodama kruopštų mikro-montažo metodą. Jos leidiniai apima Sea Salt (Lillerne Tapes), singlai kartu su Ugne Uma leidykloje STROOM ir LP Fog leidykloje Short Span. Taip pat, Marija yra elektroakustinio dueto ugne&maria narė, dueto albumai išleisti leidyklose Futura Resistenza ir Hands in the Dark, bei rezidentė Radio Vilnius ir Kiosk Radio Bruselyje.

Lithuanian born, Brussels based Marija Rasa, performing and releasing music under the moniker emer, explores sound rooted in the meditative space of dub, flowing through slow changes of voice, bass, and atmosphere. A graduate of the Institute of Sonology in The Hague, Rasa also develops multichannel acousmatic works through a meticulous micro-montage approach. Her releases include Sea Salt on Lillerne Tapes, a collaboration with Ugnė Uma on STROOM, and the LP Fog on Short Span. She is also one half of the electroacoustic duo ugne&maria, whose albums were released on the labels Futura Resistenza and Hands in the Dark. Besides, Marija is a resident of Radio Vilnius and Kiosk Radio in Brussels.
