Elena Laurinavičiūtė su Vilte Gustyte ir Liepa Grušaitė
Elena Laurinavičiūtė (g. 1993) – tarpdisciplininė menininkė, kurianti garsinių praktikų, keramikos ir performanso sankirtoje. Jos kūryba tyrinėja garsą kaip materialų ir efemerišką reiškinį, o molį – kaip terpę nematomų procesų, tokių kaip oras, vibracija ar kvėpavimas, įkūnijimui.
Elena kuria eksperimentinius keraminius garso objektus, instaliacijas ir performatyvias struktūras, kurios tiria ribas tarp regimojo ir girdimojo, tarp kūno, erdvės ir objekto, tarp technologijos ir archajiškų formų. Kūriniai dažnai veikia kaip erdviniai instrumentai, švilpiantys, ūžiantys ar vibruojantys, sukuriantys gyvą ryšį tarp žmogaus, materijos ir garsinės aplinkos.Menininkės praktika pagrįsta gamtos elementų – oro, vandens, žemės – stebėjimu ir integravimu į kūrybos procesą. Garsas jos darbuose tampa ne tik estetiniu, bet ir pažintiniu bei refleksijos įrankiu.
2024 m. ji baigė keramikos magistrantūros studijas Vilniaus dailės akademijoje. Aktyviai dalyvauja Lietuvos ir užsienio parodose, performansuose bei simpoziumuose. Elenos kūryba buvo pristatyta tokiose erdvėse kaip „JCDecaux premija 2024“, Dutch Design Week, ArtVilnius, Baroti galerija, AV17 galerija, Studium P galerija ir kituose kontekstuose Lietuvoje, Suomijoje, Latvijoje, Olandijoje.
Elena Laurinavičiūtė (b. 1993) – an interdisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of sound practices, ceramics, and performance. Her work explores sound as a material and ephemeral phenomenon, and clay as a medium for the embodiment of invisible processes, such as air, vibration, or breathing.
Elena creates experimental ceramic sound objects, installations, and performative structures that explore the boundaries between the visual and the auditory, between the body, space, and the object, and between technology and archaic forms. Her works often function as spatial instruments – whistling, humming, or vibrating, creating a living connection between the human, matter, and the sonic environment.
The artist’s practice is grounded in the observation of natural elements – air, water, earth – and their integration into the creative process. Sound in her works becomes not only an aesthetic element but also a cognitive and reflective tool.
In 2024, she completed her master’s degree in ceramics at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She actively participates in exhibitions, performances, and symposiums in Lithuania and abroad. Elena’s works has been presented in such venues and events as the “JCDecaux Prize 2024,” Dutch Design Week, ArtVilnius, Baroti Gallery, AV17 Gallery, Studium P Gallery, etc, in Lithuania, Finland, Latvia, and the Netherlands.
